Igloo Island Survival in a Frozen Ocean
Seed · Java 26.2
You spawn on a small, snowy island in a vast frozen ocean, but don't let the isolation fool you. This seed offers an incredibly close igloo just 11 blocks from your spawn point, making early game survival significantly easier. Inside, you'll find essential starting gear and a potential villager for trading, giving you a strong head start in this chilly world.
Beyond the igloo, an amethyst geode is also very close, only about 16 blocks away. This provides immediate access to amethyst shards, a resource often requiring more extensive searching. With these two key structures practically at your fingertips, you can quickly gather resources and establish a secure base before venturing further into the expansive icy landscape around you.

Is this seed for you?
This seed is ideal for players who enjoy a challenge but appreciate a quick initial boost. It suits a survival playstyle focused on early resource gathering and exploring a vast, cold ocean. You can establish a solid base quickly on your spawn island, then gradually prepare for longer expeditions to find more diverse biomes and structures.
What is good
- Igloo about 11 blocks from spawn – immediate shelter and supplies
- Amethyst Geode about 16 blocks from spawn – quick access to amethyst
- Dense spruce forest at spawn – ample wood for crafting
What to watch out for
- Spawn on a small, isolated island – limited land exploration initially
- Predominantly cold ocean biomes nearby – less biome diversity close to spawn
- Nearest village is a very long 1392-block trip
Around spawn
You begin your journey standing in a Snowy Taiga biome at y=68, right on a small island. The terrain around spawn is gently sloped with plenty of spruce trees for wood. Within arm's reach, you'll find snow, ice, and the cold ocean stretching in every direction.
Structures
This seed is genuinely notable for its extremely close igloo and amethyst geode. While other structures like an Ocean Ruin and Shipwreck are within a couple hundred blocks, most significant finds require a much longer trip across the frozen ocean.
Biomes
The immediate area is dominated by cold biomes, with Frozen Ocean and Deep Frozen Ocean making up nearly 50% of the surrounding 2048-block box. If you head far enough, you'll eventually find a Plains biome about 861 blocks away or even Ice Spikes about 902 blocks out.
