You spawn directly in Jagged Peaks, high above a dramatic valley, with an Ancient City just about 41 blocks away at coordinates (0, 48). This makes for an immediate descent into one of Minecraft's most challenging structures, or you can opt for a safer start by building a mountain base right at spawn.

Beyond the immediate high-altitude spawn, a village is also quite close, about 57 blocks north at (0, 64), offering early access to trades and resources. This proximity to both a major challenge and a peaceful settlement provides a balanced start, letting you choose your pace of exploration and resource gathering.

The surrounding area is a mix of mountainous biomes and diverse forests, ensuring a good variety of wood types and terrain for building. While there's plenty to explore nearby, some rarer biomes like Cherry Groves are a bit of a trek, about 286 blocks away, making for a rewarding discovery as you expand.
