Cold Shores and Mineshafts
Seed · Java 26.2
You spawn on the edge of a vast frozen landscape, but the real highlight here is how quickly you can get into a Mineshaft. It is located just about 25 blocks from your spawn point, providing an immediate opportunity for resources and exploration underground.
Beyond the initial mining prospect, a Trial Chambers structure is about 111 blocks away, and a village is also about 111 blocks from spawn. These offer early game advantages and shelter, though you will need to contend with the cold.
For those willing to travel, a rare Cherry Grove biome is about 1382 blocks away. This makes for a longer journey, but it is a striking destination for a unique base if you are prepared for a significant trek across the frozen terrain.

Is this seed for you?
This seed is best for players who enjoy cold biomes and want to dive straight into mining. The close Mineshaft and Trial Chambers allow for quick progression in the early game. It also suits those who enjoy a long-term goal of building in a beautiful, distant Cherry Grove.
What is good
- Mineshaft about 25 blocks from spawn — immediate underground resources
- Village about 111 blocks away — early access to trades and shelter
- Trial Chambers about 111 blocks away — nearby challenge and loot
- Rare Cherry Grove biome about 1382 blocks away — a beautiful distant destination
What to watch out for
- Flat, snowy spawn — nothing dramatic in the first 100 blocks
- Most diverse biomes are far away — requires significant travel for different resources
Around spawn
You land on a flat Snowy Plains biome at y=65, right on the coast. The immediate area around you is mostly flat and open, perfect for setting up a temporary camp, but you'll need to venture out for diverse resources. There are no dramatic features right at arm's reach.
Structures
This seed offers a Mineshaft almost at your feet, about 25 blocks away. A Village and Trial Chambers are also reasonably close, both about 111 blocks out. Most other major structures, like an Ancient City, are a significant distance away, requiring extensive travel.
Biomes
Your immediate surroundings are dominated by snowy biomes, with Snowy Plains, Snowy Taiga, and Frozen Ocean making up the majority of the area. While mostly cold, a rare Cherry Grove is present if you are willing to make the long journey about 1382 blocks away.
